How are you going to celebrate
Adopt-A-Cat Month®?

You know that cats are cooler than iPads® - you read It’s All About the Cat! each month. Like cats, iPads® are sleek and sophisticated, responsive to touch, have a lot of memory, can be held in most any direction, use very little energy and can entertain you for hours. Vet Visits Cat

Millions of cats end up in shelters or homeless each year. The CATalyst Council and American Humane are making a difference in the lives of cats by celebrating Adopt-A-Cat Month® in June.

Each one of us can make a difference in the life of a cat by supporting the efforts of CATalyst Council and American Humane. Shelters and veterinarians are encouraged to download Adopt-A-Cat Month® materials that can be used all year around to promote cat adoption and appropriate feline health care. Display the posters in your shelter or clinic, talk to cat owners about cat welfare and healthcare and have printable resources available for cat owners.

Cat owners can get involved by supporting your local shelter, learning about cat care and behavior, fostering a cat and by talking with your veterinarian about the health care needs of your cat.

The iPad® can wait until the next one comes along; but many cats can’t. Can you connect a friend or family member with a cool cat? Celebrate Adopt-A-Cat Month® by getting more cats into more homes so they can receive the care they deserve.

Make a difference in the life of a cat and you’ll make a difference in yours, too!

CATegorical Care Tip of the Month

CATegorical Care: A Guide to America’s #1 Companion was produced by CATalyst Council to provide cat owners with a fun and easy to read booklet. It tells cat owners what’s important for cat care and provides a handy reference guide for your cat’s needs for many years to come. Each month we feature a tip which gives information for new and experienced cat ownersKitty alike.

Here Kitty, Kitty:
Where to Find a Cat.

Without question, adopting a cat from an animal shelter is a wonderful option. There are more kinds of cats to choose from at shelters than there are kinds of toasters! However, unlike toasters, you’re embracing a living, breathing family member that will be with you for many years. A new cat isn’t quite as much work as a dog, but cats are still every bit the same amount of responsibility. Download PDF
